Young & Restless Preview: Jill’s Shocking News for Billy Could Change Everything for Lily and Devon

On the heels of Jill handing Billy the reins at Chancellor-Winters comes a teaser suggesting she will next drop a bomb on her son… and we think it will change everything for Young & Restless’ brother and sister team, Lily and Devon. Keep reading to find out why!

In utter shock over Jill giving Billy control of her interests in their merged company, Chancellor-Winters, Lily and Devon came up with a scheme to remove themselves from the equation. They would dupe Billy into unmerging and let him think it was all his idea. After all, he was in favor of the idea prior to the big change, so how hard could it be?

Well, something tells us Jill’s next bomb will make it much harder than they ever anticipated to get Billy onside.

Why? Jill already unloaded the biggest shocker possible with regard to the company when she gave her son control of her interests without giving Devon and Lily a heads-up. That tells us that this new unexpected blindside will be of a different nature.

As we all know, Jill has had heart problems in the past, so we suspect that the shock she will deliver to Billy will involve a health issue. Perhaps it’s the reason behind her stepping away from Chancellor-Winters.

Billy, of course, will be devastated… and more determined than ever to make his mother proud and make decisions that Jill would approve of… which isn’t necessarily good news for Lily and Devon.

Jill, as we know, was opposed to unmerging the companies, feeling that it would be a bad look for both entities and would weaken them overall. Which means Billy isn’t about to be easily persuaded by Lily and Devon to make like a banana and split.

Lily and Devon, meanwhile, will be absolutely bewildered by Billy’s change in tune, given they’ll have no idea about the latest bombshell Jill has dropped on her heir. It’s all bound to make tensions rise immeasurably… and they were already up to their eyebrows in dissension!

We hope Jill will be just fine after this health scare, but as she fights, her son will have a battle of his own to wage at Chancellor-Winters!
