Young & Restless’ Eric Braeden Battles On After Heartbreaking Family Tragedy!

The Young and the Restless actor Eric Braeden recently endured the loss of his house amid the Los Angeles wildfire. However, on social media, Braeden also recently shared something that helps him get through what he endured. In fact, the actor shared quite a few posts reflecting what helps him day-by-day.

The Young & The Restless Star Keeps Fans Updated About His Life On Social Media

Braeden is arguably best known for his role as Victor Newman on The Young and the Restless. Outside of the soap, he is also known for his roles on The Rat Patrol, Escape from the Planet of the Apes, and Titanic.

Braeden was offered his Young and the Restless role back in 1980. Initially, the character was only meant to last a few weeks. However, Victor, and Braeden, proved popular enough to last for decades on the soap. Braeden also portrayed the character in a few episodes of The Bold and the Beautiful.

Last month, Braeden suffered the loss of his home during the Los Angeles fire. As previously reported, Braeden even recorded a video before being evacuated that he shared on social media.

However, as noted by Soaps, despite the loss, Braeden’s family still helps him stay strong. In a recent photo uploaded to Instagram, the actor was seen with his granddaughter.

The little girl was seen with her arm wrapped around Braeden’s shoulder. All the while, the actor could be seen with a smile on his face. In a simple caption, Braeden shared, “The youngest!”

In a later post, Braeden shared a photo of him reading to his granddaughter from a book. As he proudly shared in the caption, “The youngest who told a teacher, ‘I’m playing with brain’ when asked why she was daydreaming!”

Many Fans Also Touched On How Family Is Getting Braeden Through His Loss

Beforehand, Braeden shared a photo of his son Christian Gudegast and granddaughter Tati. The two were sitting together at the Bayern München vs. Frankfurt fußball game.

Interestingly, Braeden is originally from Germany, being born in Bredenbek. With the post, many noted Christian’s resemblance to his father, with some mistaking him for his father.

In addition to his family, Braeden also finds support from some of his cast mates on the soap. Another recent post shared him standing with a few of his colleagues.

As the caption wrote, “On a wonderful trip to the EAST COAST with some of our cast! Will@never forget!”

In the post with Braeden’s granddaughter holding him, a lot of fans noted the importance of family. Many were happy that he found solace during this trying time for him. Some comments included:
