Ethan Plath travels to California
Ethan Plath has made the 10,000-mile trip to California from Minnesota. Olivia lives in California, which raised eyebrows among TLC fans over whether he’d be paying her a visit.
Olivia moved from Minnesota to Los Angeles shortly after she announced her divorce from Ethan in October 2023, following five years of marriage and seven years together.
“I moved to Los Angeles earlier this year for a fresh start while I figured out where I wanted to put down roots,” Olivia revealed during an Instagram Live session in December 2023.

He ‘definitely won’t’ see Olivia
Ethan has revealed he won’t see Olivia, much to the satisfaction of fans. One fan told him, “Whatever you do don’t go and visit Olivia. She’s not worth your time. Keep enjoying your journey!!”
Another questioned him on whether he’d be going to see his ex-wife. Ethan replied to the question with, “No definitely not.” It comes as he’s been travelling across the US on his motorcyle.
He showed off his ripped jeans [see below] to signify how many miles he’s been travelling. Previously, Ethan and Olivia clashed as he didn’t want to live anywhere other than his hometown.
Struggling to face new reality
Ethan has been struggling to face his new reality as a single man on Welcome to Plathville. When he saw her for the first time a month after their split, he admitted “part of him wants to be with her.”
“It’s also extremely painful. There’s stuff she threw away and I’m like, ‘Why’d you throw that away?’ She’s always been like that when she cuts something out of her life,” Ethan added.
He asked her, “Why is it that I feel like you can move on so easily? Is this just a front you put on? I feel like you don’t care and it infuriates me. I don’t understand.”
