Moriah revealed she moved from Tampa, Florida, back to Cairo, Georgia, to mourn the loss of the romance. While she spared information about their split, her family members didn’t hold back in voicing their opinions about the unidentified man.
Ethan, Barry, Micah Plath, and his girlfriend Veronica Peters shared their distaste for him when they visited the recording studio with Moriah to hear her latest song which was inspired by the breakup.
After Moriah excused herself from a conversation about her ex, Barry called him a “master deceiver,” while Veronica alleged he tried to distance her from the Plath family. Micah admitted “he[r ex] was the one in Moriah’s ear pretty much keeping her from some of the family,” as he seemingly urged her not to spend time with her loved ones. However, Ethan shockingly revealed Moriah’s ex had another family with a different woman while he was dating her. That piece of evidence likely explained why he asked Moriah to keep their relationship “private.”

She was 19 at the time of their breakup, with Max being 21, so they likely didn’t work out due to their immaturity. Ethan and Olivia were together from a very young age, and after years of being together, he may never get over their split. They met at a Christian camp in their teens in 2014 and reconnected in 2016, deciding to pursue a long-distance relationship.
