Welcome To Plathville

šŸ’„ ā€œHe’s Gone Too Far!ā€ Plathville Fans TURN on Ethan in His DARKEST Season Yet — From Hero to VILLAIN! 😱

Welcome to PlathvilleĀ season 7 has been Ethan Plath’s darkest season yet, and fans have finally been turning on him as he takes his villain status to new heights.Ā Welcome to Plathville‘s premise has changed a lot since season 1.

ParentsĀ Kim and Barry Plath split, the Plath children have grown up and started and ended relationships, and the entire dynamics within the family have shifted and continue to shift.

In previous seasons, many of the different cast members took over the villain role, but inĀ Welcome to PlathvilleĀ season 7, oldest sibling, Ethan, had emerged as the antagonist. Online, he’s been facing a lot of heat for his hurtful words on-screen, hot takes on situations, and his treatment of others.

Ethan’s Become A Villain Over The Years In Welcome To Plathville

Ethan’s Journey Has Been Tumultuous

Ethan enteredĀ Welcome to PlathvilleĀ in 2019 likable for his innocence and adoration of his now-ex-wife, Olivia Plath. The two broke up in season 5, and reportedly finalized things in season 6. Ethan did try to make things work with Olivia for years, after having married in 2018, but Ethan’s viewpoints and unwillingness to compromise earned him a lot of criticism.

Ethan wanted Olivia to be a traditional wife and cater to him; something Olivia wasn’t willing to do. Now, in season 7, Ethan has been painting himself as the one who ended his marriage and the one who came out on the right side of things, which is not the case in popular opinion.

Ethan has taken his villain status further with his season 7 behavior towards his sister, Lydia Plath’s now-husband, Zac Wyse.

Ethan accused Zac of being gayĀ during an interview, of being effeminate when speaking to his mother, Kim, and went out of his way to make Zac feel uncomfortable in front of a group that included middle sibling Isaac Plath. Moreover, he flat-out told Lydia he didn’t like Zac for little to no reason, causing Lydia to cry.

“Unbearable”

All over Reddit, posts like the one fromĀ u/NewWolf4995Ā have been addressing how problematic Ethan has been. Regarding how Ethan instigated a poor group experience for Zac, fans reacted.

“The fact that Ethan went out of his way by being disrespectful and giggling all up in his face as if he’s nothing. I applaud zach for sitting there and being mature and not taking anything to the heart, it just shows the type of MAN he is.”

In another Reddit thread byĀ u/ilovedogs12345world, Ethan was deemedĀ “unbearable.”

Another person added, “He’s not only unbearable he’s dangerous. He’s suppressed so many issues in his life that even though he’s laughing and smiling we can see the rage spilling out.”

It’s clear that whether Ethan was likable in the beginning, he is far from that image now asĀ his bully persona has been picked up on and challengedĀ byĀ Welcome to PlathvilleĀ fans.

Ethan’s treatment of Olivia and his marriage coupled with how he spoke to and about Zac is somethingĀ Welcome to PlathvilleĀ fans won’t easily forget. In order for Ethan to redeem himself in fans’ eyes,Ā he needs to do some soul-searchingĀ and admit that how he’s been behaving and criticizing others is not right.

There is still a lot of season left inĀ Welcome to Plathville, and Ethan will either make things better or worse for himself in the public eye.
