Fans have recently seen Welcome to Plathville return for its seventh season. During a recent episode, fans saw where various members of the family stood with each other. However, some fans disliked how some members of the family behaved, taking to social media to voice their opinions.

Viewers Saw The Plath Family ‘Face Off’ During A Recent Episode

Welcome to Plathville first came out in 2019. The series revolves around the titular Plath family, which features Kim and Barry Plath and their large number of children: Ethan, Hosanna, Micah, Moriah, Lydia, Isaac, Amber, Cassia, and Mercy, as well as the late Joshua.

The series returned for its seventh season on July 22, 2025. Last week, the series released the season’s second episode, “The Face-Off,” with fans seeing where certain members of the family stand with each other.

As seen in the episode, Veronica confided in Olivia, all the while sharing where she stood with Micah. Kim also opened up with Barry.

Meanwhile, Zac, who recently married Lydia Plath, shared that he was struggling to connect with his wife’s brothers. In fact, this story made quite an impression on viewers.

On social media, one fan recently wrote they felt, “Ethan and Isaac are bullies.” As they continued, “This week’s new episode actually angered me. I’m usually a silent reader in here, but Ethan, Isaac, and ‘the rowdy’s’ behavior in this episode was downright disgusting.”

The fan felt that some jokes were okay, but there were limits. They continued, “Did I join in on the little jokes about Zac? Absolutely. Does Zac fit the ‘mold’ of the Plaths? Absolutely not. Is he the most manly man ever? No, but that’s okay.” At the end of the episode, Ethan Plath then looks at the camera and says he thinks Zac is ‘Gay’. That’s where most drew the line in the sand.

“The fact that they all sat there and giggled, snarked, and laughed at Zac for simply being himself was incredibly hard to watch and made me feel so bad for him. They were straight up bullying him for what? For being a little more feminine than them? Absolutely VILE behavior.”
