For any Welcome To Plathville fans who have not been keeping up with recent updates from Lydia Plath, Kim Plath and Barry Plath’s daughter recently tied the knot and got married. This was something that a lot of viewers did not expect, and the entire family showed up to support her on her big day.

Unfortunately, this happy time in her life was somewhat overshadowed by the brotherly brawl that took place between Micah Plath and Isaac Plath. Micah’s now-ex, Veronica Peters, recently confirmed the fight, adding that Micah was on the receiving end of the worst of it, as he had his face “rearranged.”

Lydia Plath Spotted Working Regular Job

When most people think of TLC families who have a successful show on the network, especially if it runs for several seasons, the first thing that most people think of is the TLC paychecks that come in from filming. Of course, the more cast members there are, the smaller those checks become, assuming they are split somewhat evenly.

Still, it has been reported that TLC often pays out 10 percent of the production budget for the cast of ensemble family shows. So, if it costs anywhere from $250k to $400k to shoot an episode, that’s an estimated take-home amount of anywhere from $25k to $40k per episode.

Even so, Lydia Plath was spotted working a regular job recently, and it surprised a lot of Welcome To Plathville fans. It turns out, she appears to be a server at an establishment called Silks. Based on a pic of her making the rounds, she is in the middle of taking someone’s order.

As TLC fans have seen over the years, many network cast members have made “careers” out of filming for TLC, with many jumping from one spinoff to the next. The way that a lot of Welcome To Plathville fans see it, many of them are praising Lydia for not being too good to work an honest, regular job.
