TLC has yet to officially announce the return of Welcome To Plathville season 7, but rumors are swirling that season 7 is already in production, and the tea is piping hot. Welcome To Plathville has aired since 2019, and has followed the story of the Plath family from Georgia. Since the show premiered, the family has gone through ups and downs, and they aren’t the same family who first agreed to have their lives filmed for reality television. There have been divorces, feuds, and arrests, and the Plath family is very different than they once were.

5Is Ethan Still Dating His Girlfriend?

It was difficult to watch Ethan Plath’s storyline on Welcome To Plathville season 6. Ethan and his wife, Olivia Plath, ended their marriage, and viewers watched Ethan go through the motions of rebuilding his life after the divorce. While Olivia seemingly moved on quickly, Ethan struggled to accept the end of his marriage. He looked like a shell of himself… a broken man devastated that his young marriage failed.

As time passed, Ethan was able to move on. On Dec. 31, 2024, Ethan hard-launched his new love on Instagram, introducing fans to his “sweet girlfriend.” Ethan posted a series of photos of the two, but he didn’t tag or identify his girlfriend. By the looks of their photos, they’ve spent a lot of time together, playfully posing and showing off their big grins.

Ethan’s marriage to Olivia played out during the early Welcome To Plathville seasons. They began as wide-eyed, hopeful young people, excited to start their lives together. However, life slapped them in the face, the way it often does, as their marriage (and the show) continued. I’m so happy that Ethan was able to move on and find happiness again. According to The Sarah Fraser Show‘s March 21 episode Olivia will be appearing on season 7, although minimally. “We are going to see a little bit of Olivia Plath, but if you’re not an Olivia plath fan, she’s actually not going to be appearing a ton on season 7.” Now that Olivia’s divorce from Ethan is final, there really isn’t much of a point to following Olivia’s story. She doesn’t have connections with any of the other Plaths, and she doesn’t live near them anymore. She’s moving on with her life, so keeping her on the show isn’t realistic.

Viewers got to see Micah settle down in season 6 with girlfriend Veronica Peters. Micah even moved across the country to live with Veronica in Florida, but she mysteriously refused to appear on camera with him until a few episodes into the season. Veronica seemed sweet, if slightly controlling towards Micah. The first whispers that Micah and Veronica had split started when Veronica didn’t appear to be at Lydia Plath’s February wedding to Zac Wyse.

Welcome to Plathville star Micah Plath implied that his now-ex-sister-in-law Olivia had an affair that caused her split from his brother Ethan Plath.

TV Shows Ace reported that Veronica and Micah were no more, and that Veronica had been confirming it on social media. Veronica also went after Micah’s mom, Kim Plath, by reportedly responding to a comment that asked if “Kim went back to being crazy like the first season.” Veronica replied, “She never went back because she’s always been crazy. She just covered it better behind a few drinks and white lies.” Sounds like there’s no love lost between Veronica and the Plath family.

Kim didn’t make things any easier when she moved on with Ken Palmer, who was her son Isaac’s flight instructor.

According to both Sarah Fraser and TV Shows Ace, Kim and Ken are no longer together. Kim supposedly has a Facebook page, although she goes by the name Shannon Rose on the platform, and she recently changed her status to “single.” Ken didn’t appear to be at Lydia’s wedding, so their break-up might be real.

Micah Ended Up Needing Stitches

While Lydia shared photos from her beautiful wedding to Zac in February, she didn’t share what reportedly went down after the wedding (and wasn’t filmed for the show). According to the March 21 episode of The Sarah Fraser Show, Isaac and big brother Micah came to blows after the wedding, although the cause of the fight wasn’t revealed. Even more shocking? Micah reportedly needed medical attention after the fight, including stitches in his nose.

“Isaac Plath and Micah Plath got into a physical fight to the point that Micah had to be hospitalized with a broken nose and also part of his nose cut and ripped off.”

Starcasm also reported on the fight, saying that Micah’s ex Veronica also confirmed it via social media. According to the report, Veronica responded to a comment on social media asking if Isaac had in fact broken Micah’s nose. Veronica said that yes, the fight did occur at Lydia’s wedding.

“He drunkenly rearranged his face, he nearly killed him. His nose was ripped off as well as the leather jacket he wore.”

Of course, everything is alleged, and viewers won’t know what really happened until season 7 begins airing.
