This split has been hinted about for weeks on the show. Welcome to Plathville viewers have seen Kim open her own dance studio, make new friends, and step out of her comfort zone. She’s totally transformed since the first couple of seasons of the show.

Ethan Plath’s mom explained, “Barry and I have decided to live separately for a while. The easiest way to do that right now is whenever one of our rental properties is vacant, I pack a bag and I go and I stay there.”
