There, she talked about her life, difficult phases, and especially the time after her daughter’s stillbirth. It was during their ultrasound on the 20th week that Joy-Anna suffered a miscarriage, and her life changed ever since.
Joy-Anna also got emotional and teary while talking about the situation. Joy-Anna and Austin welcomed their son, Gideon, in 2018. Soon, the diva got pregnant again, and this time, it was a daughter. Everything was going great until she reached her 20-week scan, and the doctor couldn’t find the baby’s heartbeat. From there, everything went downhill. Their daughter was stillborn, and it was an extremely difficult situation for their family.

While they haven’t settled on a number, she believes four or five sounds about right. The couple already shares three children: Gideon, Evelyn, and Gunner, and they’ve hinted at expanding their family. Fans are now eagerly waiting for the couple’s next big baby announcement.

The diva was over the moon during the pregnancy, but everything fell apart during her 20-week scan. During the process, the doctors could not find her baby’s heartbeat and understood that the baby was no longer alive.
Talking about the scary experience, Joy added that looking back, she did have a gut feeling that something might not be right. However, she didn’t want to overexaggerate or read into things that weren’t there. After the ultrasound, she felt numb and had no idea what had happened. The diva explained that she went down a really hard road, and her husband, Austin, was forced to deliver their baby girl, Annabelle, early at 20 weeks.
The entire process was extremely hard for her. She is extremely thankful that her mom was beside her throughout. She had a supportive team to deal with it. A few days after her daughter was stillborn, Joy-Anna and Austin honored her with a funeral ceremony and a burial. Joy explained that the physical damage was not as severe as the mental damage. After a point, she stopped bleeding physically, but it was very difficult to move on. Moreover, there is no set timeline for healing.
She talked to other people and shared her experience with them. Everyone had different experiences and timelines. Her body was also going through postpartum, and it was all the more difficult. Joy-Anna further added that there will be days when you are happy, and the next day will be too sad. There is no set timeline, and people should be kind to themselves and not push.
