Derick Dillard, husband of Jill Duggar and former Counting On star, has followed a winding path to a legal career. After leaving Walmart in 2015, he pursued missionary work, then law school, and became a licensed attorney in Arkansas in 2022. Recently, Derick updated his LinkedIn to show a new role at “Dillard Law.” It happened in February. However, no public record exists for a firm by that name. She put it up on her Instagram handle during an Ask Anything session when fans were eager to know what’s been going on with him.
Derick has now been focusing on “personal endeavors,” though he hasn’t shared any specific details. Duggar News followers feel Jill’s post suggested they made this choice deliberately to benefit their home life. His LinkedIn profile has “Dillard Law” as his current workplace, but he hasn’t confirmed whether he’s practicing or preparing for private work.
