Sister Wives Shocker: Robyn’s Diabolical Luggage Revealed — Did She Plan Her Mastermind Move From Day 1?

Hey Sister Wives fans, let’s talk about Robyn Brown and whether she’s been plotting to make sure she was the last wife standing all the way back to day 1 when she came into the Brown family’s lives. A very close insider thinks so, Christine Brown Woolley.

Sister Wives: Robyn Brown Targeted Meri Brown for Years?

This all starts for the Sister Wives family with Christine Brown Woolley’s certainty that Robyn Brown manipulated Meri Brown from day one. Christine wholeheartedly believes that Robyn’s plan was to take Kody Brown and make him hers, both spiritually and legally in the eyes of the church and state.

We’ve heard Christine’s observations through the years, and she is standing firm on her belief that Robyn manipulated Meri into granting Kody a divorce so he could legally marry Robyn. But now Christine maps it out for the Sister Wives fans during the first One-on-One for Season 19.

Christine Brown Woolley Claims to Witness Meri Brown as a Target

During the latest Sister Wives episode, Christine also seems to think this scheme was carried out with Meri being none the wiser. Christine says that Robyn planted seeds here and there for Meri. And Robyn did it so effectively that one day, Meri decided divorcing Kody so he could marry Robyn was the right thing to do for the family.

Christine claims it started with Robyn telling stories about other people she knew in plural marriages. Then the allegations say that Robyn would mention a scenario where the first wife divorced the husband so the new wife who came into the plural marriage with kids could have a legal marriage.

Sister Wives: Robyn Spins a Familiar Story

Do Robyn’s stories sound familiar to the Sister Wives viewers? It sure sounds like Meri and Robyn’s situation with Kody, except there were two more wives between them. So, Christine thinks that Robyn was dropping little tidbits, little hints, sowing seeds so that Meri thought it was her idea.

And during the Sister Wives One-on-One, Robyn was questioned about this, and she replied with a denial. Despite what Christine said, Robyn just doesn’t remember planting any seeds about Kody divorcing Meri.

However, Robyn did suggest that a divorce scenario like that is pretty common in polygamous marriage.

Robyn’s Experience Comes Up Against Christine’s Experience

Sister Wives fans have heard Kody Brown call Christine royalty in the polygamist world, as she grew up in the lifestyle. But Christien said  says she’s never heard of this tradition Robyn talks about.

As far as Christine is concerned, it’s not commonplace for the first wife to divorce the husband so a new wife with kids in tow can be the legal wife.

Sister Wives: Meri Brown and Janelle Brown On Seed Planting

Now to balance the scales among the Sister Wives ladies, when asked about this seed planting of Robyn’s, we have Janelle saying she doesn’t recall Robyn baiting Meri.

However, Janelle also made it clear she is 100% done with Robyn and Kody. We have Janelle saying she doesn’t want or need to have Kody or his wife in her life. And in fact, Janelle flat out said she doesn’t like Kody and Robyn.

And now let’s talk about Meri – who of course, would be the person on the receiving end of Robyn’s seed planting if Christine’s assessment is correct. The Sister Wives Tell All host Suki asked each wife about Christine’s accusation that Robyn connived to get Meri to divorce Kody.

At first, Meri hesitated to answer, and then she said she actually offered Robyn the option for her to divorce Kody. But what was interesting is that Meri didn’t rule out that Robyn was playing her from day one.

Instead, Meri said maybe it was happening and Robyn was dropping seeds, but she just didn’t notice. And since others around her maybe Robyn did a good job at disguising her ploy from Meri.

Robyn & Christine’s Memories Clash

But what really drew the Sister Wives fans’ interest and comments was that Christine and Robyn had polar opposite remembrances of these events leading up to Kody divorcing his first wife in favor of Robyn.

If you recall Sister Wives seasons past, you’ll know Meri always said she initiated her divorce from Kody. And Meri said this was so Kody could adopt Robyn’s 3 kids she had by her ex-husband David Jessup

Without Meri granting the divorce, Robyn’s kids from her first marriage would no doubt go back to David if anything happened to her. And they wouldn’t be Kody’s kids legally.

And of course, it was after this adoption that Robyn had that creepy retro portrait made of Kody and her three kids when they were younger – trying to retroactively make them Robyn and Kody’s spawn and writing her ex-husband out of the picture literally.

Sister Wives: Not Buying It…

So, while Robyn tried to sell divorcing wife number one in a plural marriage as commonplace, Christine said it was not. And if anyone in that plural marriage of the Sister Wives has the deepest ties to this Mormon offshoot, it is Christine, not Robyn. Christine’s family started the UAB, after all.

According to Christine, who grew up entrenched in plural marriage as the normal arrangement and not the exception, this just isn’t a thing. So, that’s why she thinks Robyn was plotting all along to get Kody as her legal husband.

And Christine believes Robyn did this by hoodwinking Meri from the first day she became part of the Sister Wives family. This isn’t the first time that Robyn had a drastically different take on plural marriage traditions from Christine.

Remember when wife three left Kody—she said she considered herself divorced. But Robyn had a different take on this.

More Polygamy Marriage Rules According to Robyn…

When Christine left Kody, there was no legal marriage for Christine to dissolve in court. Their Sister Wives marriage was a spiritual one. They were not legally bonded together.

And by the time she left Kody, we knew Christine wasn’t part of that UAB faith anymore, so there was no need to ask the church for permission either.

Christine considered herself divorced when she told the Sister Wives’ patriarch it was over. But the creepy thing was, Robyn claims she didn’t recognize Christine and Kody as divorced at that point.

Sister Wives: World of Polygamy According to Robyn

Robyn didn’t consider Kody divorced from Christine, and we heard why she felt that way on the Sister Wives show. The plural marriage gospel, according to Robyn, is that Christine wouldn’t be divorced from Kody until she slept with another man.

Given how much PDA that Christine and her now-husband, David Woolley, packed on and how much Christine said she enjoyed their intimacy, I’d have to guess Robyn would have to consider Kody and Christine divorced by now.

Plus, David put a ring on her finger, so legally, David Woolley’s not only Christine’s only husband, but he’s also her first husband. And hopefully her last.

Robyn’s weird little – no divorce until you get intimate with another guy rule is something all the other wives agree they’ve never heard before. So, when it comes to plural marriage, we know Christine knows the doctrine.

And it seems Robyn’s making it up as she goes along. The good news is we’ve got Christine to set the record straight and call Meri’s attention to the fact she might have been the target of Robyn’s diabolical plot to steal Kody from the very start.
