General Hospital Spoilers September 18: Portia and Trina Compare Notes

General Hospital spoilers for Wednesday, September 18, focus on characters who are in for a shock, in for bad news, and in for a catch-up.
Mother-Daughter Chat
Portia (Brook Kerr) and Trina (Tabyana Ali) have a much-needed catch-up session. It’s totally understandable why. After all, they haven’t spent that much time together in the past few months. (Check out GH’s Comings & Goings here)
Maybe Portia can tell her daughter if she did anything to mess with Heather’s (Alley Mills) test results—the ones she was so diligently waiting for. Trina, of course, continues to grieve for Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez), so you’d think her mom would want an update on how she’s doing with all of that. We’ll see what actually transpires, however.
Shocks and Bad News
Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) is the type who doesn’t mind delivering bad news, especially if it’s to Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) or Sonny (Maurice Benard — shares thoughts about Kelly Monaco’s exit). In fact, he relishes those moments. But will he savor the reaction to the bad news he’s delivering on Wednesday? It will undoubtedly depend on who’s on the receiving end of this dire intel.
Is it Alexis Davis? Because teasers suggest, she is in for a shock. That’s all she’s feeling these days. She was shocked to find the 9MM in Kristina’s (Kate Mansi) backpack. Remember how shocked she was when Molly (Kristen Vaganos) accused her of favoring her sister over her? In addition, she was shocked when Mac (John J. York) came and arrested her for murdering Agent John Cates (Adam J. Harrington). And something tells us there are more shocks to her system to come.
Decisions and Discussions
Meanwhile, Sonny suddenly makes a hire. Is he the reason Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) returns to Port Charles? If Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) represents him, then Alexis needs a lawyer. Ric is already spoken for (and wouldn’t take Alexis on in a thousand years). And, sorry, Alexis, you can’t represent yourself! Plus, Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) is gone with the wind, apparently. So Martin’s a good lawyer, and of course, he’d represent Alexis to the best of his abilities. No pressure, Martin!
