General Hospital spoilers leak Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) is the newest of minted cops on the PCPD force. He’s excited to be a part of the crew, but he still has little idea what he’s doing.
Working on the right side of the law certainly is different than life was under Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) thumb. That being said, fans are starting to speculate that Dex may play some role in Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) upcoming death.
The contrast between Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) being Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) partner while Dex continues to shadow Chase could come into play if one wrong move made by Dex is the reason Sam’s life is taken so soon. But moreover, how will Dex handle the payback that is sure to come his way if Sam’s loved ones think he neglected to do his job and got her killed?

Right now, the future is ripe with opportunities for Officer Heller. He’s thrilled to know the work he is doing matters and is above board.
But being a new cop on the job is going to give him ample opportunity to screw up. Call is bad luck but we have a theory that he just might be the lynchpin in a hostile situation that gets Sam killed — an event that has been confirmed only recently. If Sam dies because
Dex simply wasn’t good enough at his job, he may never forgive himself. Will anyone else?

Sam has finally found what looks to be her happily ever after. She and Dante are cruising right along in life, pleased to have blended their families so well. They just get each other.
When she is killed so tragically and so early in her relatively young life, anyone who plays a role in her demise will have to contend with her grieving family — and they’re not all the most stable lot. Her son, Danny Morgan (Steve Burton), has been known to take things to the extreme.
Dante is already biting everyone’s heads off due to mounting stress and grief on his mind; this is sure to only make that worse. Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is hardly consistently reasonable, and Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi) gets similar traits honestly from both of her parents.
General Hospital Spoilers — Jason is Kind, to a Point
Dex might not be able to look Sam’s family in the eye, but it won’t compare to how angry he’ll assume Sonny’s right-hand man, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), is.
The fans are on the fence about this one. Will Jason retaliate and want to make Dex pay for Sam’s death? A life for a life? Is that fair? Will he have more grace and understand it was a mistake and not intentional?
Will Jason be forced to act on Sonny’s orders to punish anyone who played a role — including the police? Sonny is clearly no longer afraid of killing members of law enforcement.
