Although Alexis and Ric got married and tried to settle down the old-fashioned way with Molly, it was Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi) who came first. Yes, Kristina is older than Molly, despite the trend that she often is treated as the lesser mature of the two siblings.

Ric hated that Alexis shared a child with his loathsome brother, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). From the start, he didn’t have the same affection for his niece and stepdaughter, Kristina, as he did for his own daughter.

Ric is never going to truly let go of his animosity toward Sonny. In turn, he’ll never really drop the way he feels toward Kristina, or how much more important his own daughter with Alexis is to him.

Ric and Alexis fueled one another in the beginning. Two fiery attorneys came together, and she didn’t like Sonny any more than he did. It was a win-win for Ric. But they weren’t married long before Ric had an affair with FBI Agent Reese Marshall (Kari Wurher).

The following year, he repeated his mistake with Alexis’ daughter, Sam. They may have moved on from the way they treated one another in the past, but that doesn’t mean they want to reminisce over how things were.
