Spoilers Recap: Monday, July 8
In Monday’s episode of “The Bold and the Beautiful,” Hope Logan (Anuka Noel) rejected Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) third marriage proposal. Thomas anticipated this reaction and decided to move on with Paris Buckingham (Diamond White). Although Hope’s past rejections hurt him, Thomas insisted he had found love and happiness with Paris.
The episode began with Paris finishing a conversation with Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). Brooke felt Thomas’s relationship with Paris was a rebound, while Ridge believed it was genuine. Paris then met with Thomas, complaining about Hope’s victim mentality. Thomas, showing empathy, reassured Paris that Hope would eventually find someone else.
Finn’s Warnings and Decisions
Lee Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) urged her son, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), to focus on his family and warned him about Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) potential to destroy his marriage. Despite Lee’s caution, Finn continued to support Hope, who was upset when Finn visited Forrester Creations. Finn encouraged Hope to open up about her struggles and assured her that she would find a worthy partner.
Wedding Preparations
Thomas and Paris’s relationship grew stronger, and they began planning their wedding with Thomas gaining approval to host it at the Forrester estate. Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) expressed their happiness over the upcoming nuptials. Steffy even suggested that Paris ask her to be the matron of honor, while Thomas considered having Douglas as his best man.
Hope and Finn’s Growing Bond
Finn’s support for Hope deepened their bond, causing potential complications for his marriage with Steffy. Hope’s feelings for Finn intensified, setting up future drama as Finn kept finding reasons to be with Hope despite warnings from Steffy and Lee.
Will Spencer’s Return
The show also teased the return of Will Spencer, now portrayed by Crew Mor. Will’s return on August 1st is expected to bring family drama as he might try to reunite his parents, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) and Katie Logan (Heather Tom), despite Bill’s new family with Poppy (Romy Park) and Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada).
