Paris puts Hope on notice after catching her with Thomas. Poppy cries over Tom as Katie warns Bill. Hope calls her father at Forrester and informs him that a close friend of Tom’s died last night from an apparent drug overdose. Thomas shifts gears and says he didn’t like how Steffy addressed her the other day and thinks she deserves an apology, though it’s unlikely she’ll receive one.
Hope urges Thomas to consider carefully before rushing into marriage. Poppy flashes to Bill informing her of Tom’s death, and she grimaces. Bill appears and tells her she was amazing earlier. Poppy tells him he’s always amazing and has completely changed her and their daughter’s lives. Bill says he needs to go to Forrester Creations. Poppy asks if he has a meeting, and Bill explains he wants to talk to Katie. Poppy acknowledges they have a lot to discuss now that Will has a baby sister, but she encourages him not to take too long. They kiss as Bill approaches the den, and Poppy murmurs Katie’s name.
Katie admires Paris’s engagement ring and is surprised to learn she’s engaged to Thomas. Paris understands the difficulties of committing to someone who can’t commit and told Thomas so. Katie wonders if Thomas was honest with Paris about Hope, who was everything to him until she wasn’t. Paris learns that Hope was distraught at the engagement. Thomas has been honest about his relationship with Paris, but Hope doesn’t seem convinced.
Hope tells Thomas she still loves him and questions his rush to marry Paris. Thomas says he had to move on after Hope refused to marry him. Paris listens outside as Thomas tells Hope he had to go on and found support in Paris. Hope questions whether that support is enough reason to rush into marriage and reminisces about their past passion. Thomas insists it’s over, and Hope sobs as he walks away.
Poppy recalls her final disagreement with Tom, during which he said it was time for Luna to learn the truth. She continues to cry, believing spoilers might have killed Tom. At Bill’s house, she reads the news article about Tom’s death and remembers their romance. Bill approaches Katie, who questions his new family dynamics. Bill expresses his commitment to his new family and regrets not spending more time with Luna and Poppy. Katie feels like an outsider in her own home and doesn’t trust Poppy, urging Bill to be careful.
Paris confronts Hope, reminding her that Thomas is her fiancé. Hope admits she still loves Thomas and believes he still loves her, but Paris insists Thomas has moved on and they are getting married. Paris urges Hope not to make a play for Thomas again.
Bill tells Katie he wants to talk about their family’s future, and they discuss the changes in their lives. Katie questions Bill’s feelings for Poppy, and he acknowledges his love for her, but Katie struggles with the new dynamics.
