This isn’t the first time that we’ve wondered whether The Bold and the Beautiful’s Steffy has gone too far, but it may be the first time we’ve been almost certain she has! Because after flipping out over Hope’s support of Sheila and Deacon, Steffy retaliated by going after the Hope for the Future line — and pretty much everything that means something to Hope!
And in return, Hope, who didn’t buy for a millisecond that the attack on her profitable line had anything to do with business, declared war on Steffy. Things are about to get ugly. (Check out Hope’s full reaction in our Thursday recap here.)
Our guess on what she goes after first? Steffy’s marriage.
Hope and Finn have already been growing close, as they’re about the only two people willing to give their parents (and their love) a chance. It doesn’t help that everyone else gives them so much grief, they’re practically being pushed into each other’s arms. So it would make absolute sense that Hope would start intentionally driving a wedge between Steffy and her beau.
Heck, she doesn’t even have to make a play for him herself and can just play off his bizarre relationship with his mom! Of course, if Hope and Finn do grow close, we can’t see either complaining — that head massage he gave her the other day was practically shooting sparks.
But that could just be the beginning. Because with Hope for the Future cut loose, its founder needs somewhere to take it — and her talents. And we know just the person to fund it: Bill! She could propose he get back into the fashion game and she could head up the new company. Granted, Bill wouldn’t have the same desire to get back at Steffy, but he could probably be convinced to make the folks at Forrester miserable if Hope mentioned tweaking Ridge’s nose.
So yes, Steffy’s probably gone too far. But we have a feeling Hope won’t be much farther behind. We guess it was only a matter of time — especially after Thomas ran off — that the two women would devolve into an all-out war, but this one feels like it’s going to get especially nasty. Batten down the hatches and take cover, because Hurricane Hope is about to crash right into Super Storm Steffy. (Sorry, we couldn’t resist.)
