It was more like antisocial media recently for Lawrence Saint-Victor, who was forced to address the most ridiculous of rumors. The Bold & Beautiful actor, who also writes for the soap, was “accused of using the power they think I have as a writer,” he explained, “to write myself into love scenes so I can kiss all the actresses.

“That’s an insulting statement,” he added, “and I wish not to be tagged in comments like those.”

Ordinarily, Saint-Victor, who’s been married to college sweetheart Shay Flake for more than 20 years, would have let the nonsense roll off his back. “I don’t usually respond, but you’re calling my integrity into question,” he said. “I, as a writer, have no control over story or what Carter does or doesn’t do.”

Decisions like that are made higher up the food chain, by the likes of headwriter Bradley Bell.

“I’ve seen a few of your ignorant remarks about me,” Saint-Victor continued to the “fan.” “They are insulting. You are free to post what you want, but don’t tag me.”

Currently, Carter is entangled in a secret romance with (former) Forrester Creations colleague Hope, which makes his support of her and her fashion line all the more eyebrow-raising to co-CEO Steffy, who believes that her sometime stepsister is still out to seduce her husband.
