The Young and the Restless has been pulling out all the stops for its 13,000th episode celebration, not the least of which has been surprising Eric Braeden and Melody Thomas Scott with the return of Victor and Nikki’s home as it was before the infamous fire Sharon set. But it’s not all fun and games, especially when it comes to the most difficult aspect of the 13,000th episode: figuring out how to say the milestone number!
Lauralee Bell (Christine) decided to put her costars to the test — on video no less! And the results were spectacularly entertaining. Actually, Bell posed it as having the folks of Young & Restless practice, but there were a few times we felt like she was putting them through 13,000th boot camp!
Like, for instance, when Joshua Morrow (Nick) and Conner Floyd (Chance) tried out the number by wrapping up 13,000 pushups together. Good job, fellas! We won’t ask for video of the first 12,999 push ups. Then there was Sean Dominic (Nate) and his impressive 13,000 kettlebell reps on the stairs. Although now that we think about it, it’s awfully coincidental that we also missed the first 12,999 reps… Ah well, we’re sure they were immaculate!
At the end of the day, after watching all the tongue-twisting, we might have to go with Christian Jules LeBlanc (Michael) because his method worked best — just getting frustrated and shouting out, “Thirteen K!” Done and done! Check out the whole hilarious video below, because there were a whole lot of folks who took a hand at practicing “13,000th.”
