Matt Roloff shares a new hobby after announcing his and Karen’s retirement. Hello, dear viewers, welcome to Blast Gossip with Jesse! Matt began his TV journey almost two decades ago with ‘Little People, Big World.’ He and his then-wife Amy owned a 100-acre pumpkin farm and raised four kids: Zach, Jeremy, Molly, and Jacob. Over time, they decided to move on from LPBW and the farm.
Jeremy and Zach’s public feud is well known, and Matt’s life on the farm has been quite lonely, with only his fiancée Karen and youngest son Jacob by his side. After failing to reconcile with his twin sons, he has started living his retirement and recently shared a glimpse of it with his fans.
Since his reality TV career began, LPBW fans have seen Matt go through many challenges. A visionary, he has created many interesting structures on his farm. Now, as he approaches retirement, he plans to live a blissful life with Karen Chandler, whom he will marry soon. In a recent post, Matt shared a picture of an old treehouse on the farm, built when his kids were little. He also shared a conversation with Karen, mentioning that organizing and labeling old pictures was something he had long wanted to do, and now, in retirement, he is finally doing it.
Fans were impressed by Matt’s simple yet wholesome new hobby and praised him for giving his kids a great childhood despite the current strained relationships. Matt noted that the treehouse is no longer on the farm due to storm damage. He has faced criticism for not allowing Zach and Jeremy to have parts of the farm unless they paid the rightful price, which they couldn’t afford, leading them to move on.
Matt also mentioned his dream of building a structure for his daughter Molly, but by the time it was finished, she was off to college. He expressed his hope that his grandkids would play in the castle if not Molly. Fans encouraged Matt not to lose hope, suggesting that Zach and Tori’s kids might also enjoy it, even though they visit infrequently due to the family feud.
