Steffy urges Thomas to return to Europe with Paris and Douglas. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers recap for Tuesday, July 9th, reveals that Hope Logan admitted to John Finn Finnegan that she’s been asking herself why she turned down Thomas Forrester’s marriage proposal. Although Hope didn’t want to lose Thomas, she admitted the idea of marrying him absolutely alarmed her. Hope was starting to wonder if she was acting this way because she couldn’t have Thomas. Finn assured Hope that when she least anticipated it, the person she was meant to be with would be standing right in front of her.
At the Forrester mansion, Steffy praised Douglas Forrester for snapping photos of Paris Buckingham now that he picked up photography as a hobby. Both Steffy and Douglas were thrilled to learn Thomas and Paris would be having a traditional Forrester marriage at Eric Forrester’s mansion. Paris hoped Douglas could get through to Hope since she still wanted Thomas. Paris claimed she wasn’t feeling insecure and remained confident in their love. Steffy, however, wondered what was really going on with Hope.
In a moment alone with Thomas, Steffy argued that Thomas was an extraordinary person who didn’t measure up in Hope’s eyes. She suggested Thomas should take Douglas and Paris to Europe so they could live spectacular lives. By the time Thomas came back, Steffy felt certain Hope would have moved on with another man.
Donna Logan expressed doubts about whether Thomas was really over Hope, and Brooke still had doubts as well. However, Eric and Ridge Forrester defended Thomas’ new love with Paris. Brooke was concerned for Hope since she seemed misplaced and confused. Brooke suspected Steffy might be pushing Thomas and Paris together. Ridge argued that Thomas had moved on and added that it was because of Steffy. He suggested Hope would find someone else to share her life with.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers hint that Hope and Finn’s forbidden love could cause trouble down the road. Steffy could be in for a shock if Finn and Hope ultimately cross the line. Finn’s confession might upset Steffy, and Brooke warns Hope against repeating history. Hope’s turmoil over Thomas and Paris’ engagement continues, and Brooke steps up to offer her wisdom to Hope. On Wednesday, July 10th, fans can anticipate Brooke advising Hope not to repeat history.
