Jenn explained that she is sharing Shawn’s story in recognition of Sarcoma Awareness Month in July. She also expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support they have received. Sarcoma is a rare type of malignant tumor that develops in the bone and connective tissues of the body. Symptoms can vary, but may include a lump, swelling, or pain in different areas. Treatment options include surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy.
