Recent events on the soap have Finn learn that his relationship with his cousin Luna is more complicated than he thinks. As it turns out, he is also her biological father.

The news of a long-lost daughter would naturally have long ramifications for the character. Notably, there is some speculation that the series is setting up Steffy breaking things off with Finn due to the news.

In doing so, this could open up the possibility of the story driving Finn towards another character. In particular, some fans suspect that this could open up a romance between him and Hope Logan.

Tanner Novlan Himself Previously Talked About Whether ‘Sinn’ Fans Should Be Worried

On the series, Hope and Steffy have long been rivals. This almost seems to be in the blood, as it resembles the rivarly between their mothers, Brooke and Taylor.

In addition, Hope has had feelings for Finn in the past. Occasionally, this has gotten her into trouble. In one recent story, while waiting for Carter, Hope fell into Finn’s arms. After refusing to name Carter, Steffy had Hope fired, believed she was making a pass at he husband.

There is also the issue of whether Steffy would reject Luna or not. As noted by Soap Hub, Finn already had reservations about sharing the news with Steffy after discussing her past deeds.

The soap already hinted at Steffy’s growing suspicions about her marriage. Recently, while talking with her parents, she shared, “I don’t think this feeling’s ever going to go away.” The soap does seem like it’s setting up the idea that the couple is about to have a major fallout.

As previously reported, Finn’s actor Tanner Novlan also talked about what the reveal could mean for his and Steffy’s relationship. Speaking with Us Weekly, he noted that Finn is naturally worried: “Steffy and Kelly and Hayes are literally his entire world, and I see why.”

However, Novlan didn’t think fans of the couple should be too worried. He mused, “The Sinn fans are absolutely incredible, and I really like Sinn’s relationship. They’re true soulmates. I mean, he took a bullet for her, and she has been there for him through thick and thin.”

“They really have a solid relationship, but there’s all these external issues, like, pushing and pushing. And so you ask yourself the question of, ‘Man, how long do you stay with someone, even though you love them, with all the external stressors around their life and drama?’”
