Kim Plath Takes Fans Inside Shocking New Home
While the last Welcome To Plathville fans saw was Kim Plath considering moving in with Ken Palmer, she shows a different living arrangement in the Season 6 teaser. Kim shows her new home in a sneak peek for the new Welcome To Plathville Season 6 episode. Sentimentally, she reflects on growing up in a sailboat, “I grew up on a sailboat and I loved it, so I bought a boat.”
She bought a 33-foot Chris-Craft boat with tiny living quarters. She says, “It’s sort of a less expensive way of having waterfront property.”
Although the space is tight in the new home, she is looking at all the beautiful opportunities it provides. She tells her three youngest girls, Amber, 15, Cassia, 13, and Mercy Plath, 11, to look at all the benefits boat living provides.
Furthermore, she encourages them “to see the boat as gaining a bike trailer and a river and all of this natural beauty around them.” In the clip, Kim and her girls dance to let each other slide by in the new cramped living space. The girls talk about it being small inside, but that they don’t spend much time inside.
Kim Plath Gives A Tour
As the camera pans through the boat, it offers an outside deck and a small area for living. Kim Plath shows Amber, Cassia, and Mercy Plath around their new place. It has an area for sitting during the day and sleeping at night that includes two couch beds.
Furthermore, at the front of the boat where it comes to a point, there is a bed that can sleep one or two people.
Additionally, it has a small bathroom that she says is primarily used for storing their toiletries, makeup, and beauty products. Additionally, it provides them with running water.
While it has water, she says they usually use the marina’s bathrooms since they are nice facilities with big bathrooms to shower and get ready.
Kim Plath Prepares The Space For Her Kids
It is a huge change from the large house the family lived in with Barry Plath. But Kim is keeping her teenage daughters in mind. She says, “I really worked hard to make it as livable for them as possible.”
